Invacare Safe Patient Handling team heads North
Building upon the recent success of the regional Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conferences (OTAC), which are run by Promoting Independence, Invacare, a leading manufacturer of Safe Patient Handling solutions is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the Independent Living Scotland event on the 26th & 27th September at the SEC Glasgow.
During the event, Invacare’s Safe Patient Handling Business Development Manager for Scotland, Claire Don, will be delivering a ‘hands on’ workshop focused on our modular Aquatec® Ocean® family of shower chair commodes.
Entitled, ‘Modular Shower Chair Commodes – How can they meet your clients’ needs?’, Claire will focus on how ‘off the shelf’ accessories within the Ocean® range can be utilized to easily adapt these modular shower chair commodes to support a wide range of clients, from young adults to the elderly and long term disabled.
Claire will demonstrate why the Ocean has proved itself very popular with Occupational Therapists and how it can be used to manage those with postural management needs, neurological deficits and degenerative conditions.
Invacare’s Safe Patient Handling team will be situated on stand C13 within the OTAC Arena and will be displaying how various solutions from our community bed, lifting and hygiene ranges can provide safety, comfort and functionality for both client and carer.
Invacare has been involved in the manufacture of Safe Patient Handling solutions for over 30 years. The company offers a straightforward range of non-complex, cost-effective solutions that have been designed to promote dignity and independence for older and disabled people within community and residential care.
